Go for plant-based meals
Pack your plate with nourishing and healthy sources of plant goodness and you’ll soon find that you’re not only eating your recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables a day, your digestion system will thank you for it. Go for water-rich foods like green vegetables so you can continue to rehydrate.
Boost your gut bacteria
If you’re feeling a little bloated, it could be down to the many bad bacteria in your stomach but the good news is that you can always give yourself a boost of good bacteria to outnumber the bad ones. Probiotics are friendly bacteria and can be found in foods like yoghurt, or if you’re a fan of fermented foods like sauerkraut and kimchi then now is a good time to get your fill as they will put the good bacteria back in place.
